The design objective for this bench was to preserve the natural look of the wood.
Oversized dovetails slot were used to attach the legs to the deck. Intended to integrate with the natural look of the lumber – they merge into the slopes of the stock.
The material (Eucalyptus) was selected for its deep colors and dramatic contrasts.
The logs are grown in the northern part of Israel , and were planted for industrial usages – thus preserving the natural forest.
